Chitose Airport
The major airpoirt on Hokkaido is New Chitose International Airport, sometimes referred to as Sapporo Airport due to it's location close to Japan's fifth largest city. Flights arrive and depart New Chitose Airport frequently from all major Asian destinations and across Japan. Whether arriving at New Chitose or returning after an epic ski holiday, there are excellent transfer options to Niseko by bus, train or taxi. NPC can arrange any and all transport options to ensure your group get to where you're going as quickly and smoothly as you wish.
Trains
Traveling to Niseko by train is a great way to see some of the beautiful Japanese countryside. Take the train from New Chitose Airport and you'll pass through the cities of Sapporo and Otaru, both of which are highly recommended places to visit. The train also travels alongside the coast on that route and, in mid-winter, you'll look out on snow covered beaches as fresh snow falls into the ocean - not something seen everywhere!
If you are coming to Japan for more than a ski holiday and plan to see more of the country, you may consider investing in a Japan Rail Pass providing unlimited rail travel for a set time. With one of these in your hand it is not unfeasible to take the train to Niseko all the way from Tokyo or beyond for a real adventure. Recommended if you have the time.
Coach
Coach is often the easiest and most convenient way to travel between New Chitose Airport and Niseko. Book your seats with NPC and we will do the rest; just follow the directions to the bus counter, get on the bus and next thing you know you're in Niseko. We will arrange for you to be taken to the door of your accommodation on arrival and picked up in plenty of time to get to the airport at the end of your holiday.
Taxi
NPC can arrange all of your taxi needs whether they be private transfers from the airport to Niseko for 1 to 100 people or a taxi at night to one of the area's hidden dining delights in Kutchan or Annupuri.
