Transport

Niseko is easily accessible by train from Sapporo city or Chitose Airport.

Ferry

A great way to come to Niseko is by ferry and then catch a train or drive. (See driving info below.)

Ferries come to Hokkaido from all major Japanese ports.

Niigata to Otaru takes about 18hrs, and the ferry offers great bath and movie facilities. Standard one-way price is 5250 yen per person and 17950 yen for car and driver.

Drive

The drive from Muroran or Otaru to Niseko takes about two hours. Rental cars are available from Chitose. Niseko Summer Connection is able to take care of all of your rental car needs.
